About
MacFan reads your Mac's sensors and fans directly from the System Management Controller and gives you real control — a Smart temperature curve, fixed per-fan speeds, or your own named presets like Gaming and Turbo. It lives in the menu bar and always restores Apple's automatic control when you quit.
Because real fan control needs unsandboxed hardware access, MacFan ships outside the Mac App Store as a notarized, Developer ID–signed app — verified by Apple, installable directly or via Homebrew.
